The Ministry of Education Culture and Higher Education (MoECHE) is implementing the Girls Education Accelerator (GEA), funded by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), which is a three-year initiative aimed at catalyzing sustainable advancements within the education sector of the Federal Government of Somalia. With a robust focus on the Education Sector Strategic Plan (ESSP 2022- 2026) and the Partnership Compact's outlined priorities, the GEA endeavours to bolster primary enrolment rates, enhance literacy and numeracy, and establish a transparent and efficient financial framework.
