The Somali Red Crescent Society (SRCS) invites experienced and qualified construction companies to participate in the tender for the rehabilitation of the SRCS Mogadishu branch office.

SRCS Mogadishu Branch, Warta Nabada District, Mogadishu, Somalia

Eligibility / Legal Documents

Interested companies must submit the following documents:

• Company registration certificate from relevant government authorities.
• Company profile detailing past experience in similar projects.
• Copies of at least three previous contracts or purchase orders for similar work.
• Bank statement for the last six months.

Project Scope

The rehabilitation project includes the following key activities:

1. Structural Repairs:
   • Repair cracks in ceilings and walls, restore exposed rebars, and replace damaged windows.
2. Emergency Exit & Fire Safety Measures:
   • Install an emergency exit door.
   • Provide and install fire extinguishers at strategic locations.
   • Conduct fire safety training for office staff.
3. Car Parking & Security Enhancements:
   • Construct a car parking shed.
   • Build a security room for stationed security personnel.
   • Install security fencing around the office perimeter.
4. Damp Proofing & Roof Protection:
   • Apply waterproofing treatment to prevent rainwater seepage.
5. Front Gate & Doors Renovation:
   • Repair and reinforce the front gate and damaged doors.
   • Apply protective painting.
6. Water Drainage & Flood Management:
   • Construction of a Raised Concrete Curb: Install a reinforced concrete curb at the front entrance to divert floodwater away and prevent water damage to the interlock pavement and office premises.
