In a concerted effort to address the challenges of food insecurity, climate vulnerability, and limited agricultural knowledge among internally displaced populations (IDPs), YOVENCO, with the support of Plan International, launched the Resilient Futures project in December 2025. The project targets three IDP camps in Burao District, Togdheer Region, Somaliland, and aims to respond to the interconnected challenges of prolonged drought, food insecurity, and child protection risks affecting vulnerable communities.
Therefore, YOVENCO invites local Suppliers with proven experience of establishment of greenhouse and provision of greenhouse materials/equipment for production of vegetables in two IDP Camps in Burao district. Thus, to tender for the supply of greenhouse materials and establishment of greenhouses in the designated IDP Camps, the conditions and technical requirements is stated in this invitation at the below Section A:
Submission:
Completed tender documents (Mandatory Requirement along with the Quote) of greenhouse materials/ equipment, and establishment of greenhouse in sealed envelope clearly marked with the title Supply of (Tender for establishment of two greenhouses in Burao district) and must be deposited in the tender box located at YOVENCO Hargeisa/Berbera/Burao Offices before the closing/deadline date and recorded in the attendance sheet.
