CONSULTANCY FOR MARKET SYSTEMS ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT OF MARKET ACTOR-LED ACTION PLANS

Founded in 1956, the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading international humanitarian organisation working to protect and support displacement-affected people and communities.
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), as part of the Somali Resilience Programme (SomReP), is implementing the Sida III project, “Inclusive Livelihoods for Vulnerable Pastoral Groups”, in Somaliland. The project aims to strengthen the resilience of vulnerable pastoral, agro-pastoral and peri-urban communities to climate shocks and related risks.
Under Outcome 3, Output 3.2, the project seeks to improve pastoralists’ and agro-pastoralist farmers’ access to input, output and service markets. DRC therefore seeks practical, market actor-led Market Systems Action Plans for Arabsiyo, Baligubadle, Jaleelo and Salahley, informed by market systems analysis and viable commercial opportunities.
DRC invites eligible and qualified consultants or consulting firms registered in Somaliland, Somalia or internationally, with demonstrated experience in Market Systems Development (MSD), agricultural and/or livestock value chains, commercial feasibility and private-sector engagement, to submit proposals
Interested and qualified bidders should submit separate technical and financial proposals, together with all supporting documents required under RFP-SOM-HGA-2026-006, by 11 November 2026.
