We are committed to achieving our core vision of caring for the people of concern in all countries where we work. Our goal is to provide vulnerable communities in Puntland with access to basic needs including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, Basic Health services and Livelihood Support.
Islamic Relief Somalia has been implementing project of Reliable Water for Somalia (RWAS-II) which aims improvement of community water accessibility and enhanceing their resilience to the droughts through drilling and equipping of deep borehole in Abaarey, Garowe in Nugal regions of Puntland.
Please note Tender document with detail specification will be available and collect at logistics unit of Islamic Relief Garowe office from 3rd Dec – 14th /Dec, 2024 (05:00 PM).
Interested eligible contractors with sound capacity, relevant experience in similar work and duly registered as drillers are here by invited to collect tender document from Islamic Relief Garowe Office.
Requirements for Tender Documents
1. Tender envelop should be sealed with reference number and stamped.
2. The bidder must have a rotary drilling rig and air compressor in good condition.
3. Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address
4. Most recent Bank statements (printed in last 6months). With full details of account movement and enough balance
5. Quotation price.
6. Valid Commercial License from the Ministry of Commerce.
7. Valid Public of Work registration from the Ministry of Public Work.
8. Tender Board Registration
9. Tax Clearance from the Ministry of Finance
10. Evidence of Past Experience in a similar/relevant work of E.g. (LPOs/Contracts, etc.).
11. The interested company should have all drilling machines with all accessories.
All bids should be written in English.
Notes:
1. The selected company will conduct a detail Hydrogeological, and geophysical investigation using ABEM TERRAMETER SAS1000/ SAS5000 or LS2 instrument in Abaareey Village to determine high potential site for borehole drilling
2. The IRS invites only companies that have rotary drill rig and compressor with good condition.
3. The payment modality will be “No Water No Payment”.
Tender Duration and Deadline
Tender document with detail specification and terms and conditions will be at logistic unit of Islamic Relief Garowe office at Al Nasar Street. The deadline for submitting bids is 14th Dec, 2024 (05:00 PM). PM and any tender or documents received later than this date and time will not be accepted. The sealed envelopes should be dropped at Islamic Relief Garowe Office Tender Box at bellow address.
