Purpose:
The Gender Manager will provide technical leadership to ensure gender equality and gender mainstreaming are systematically integrated throughout the Caafimaad+ Childhood Immunization Program. The position will identify and address gender-related barriers to immunization, particularly among zero-dose and under-immunized children in hard-to-reach communities, and ensure that program design, implementation, budgeting, monitoring, accountability and learning are gender-responsive, inclusive and aligned with government and consortium standards.
Engagement:
Lead stakeholder engagement and support the effective delivery of gender-responsive immunization interventions. Work with government, partners, communities and frontline teams to identify gender barriers, implement practical solutions, ensure gender priorities are integrated into program activities, and monitor progress to strengthen inclusive and equitable immunization outcomes
Delivery:
Ensure effective implementation of gender-responsive interventions across the Caafimaad+ program by translating gender priorities into practical actions, supporting program teams and partners, monitoring implementation, addressing gaps, and ensuring measurable improvements in equitable access to immunization.
