Position Title: Education Assistants (2 Positions)
Reporting To: Education Officers
Location: Baidoa (1 Position), Hudur ( 1 Position)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Education Assistant is an integral member of the Education can’t Wait -First Emergency Response (ECW-FER) project in South west state of Somalia and will be responsible for providing essential support and assisting in the implementation of education project activities in Baidoa and Hudur Districts. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that children affected by displacement are enrolled in nearby public schools or Temporary Learning Spaces supported by SOS Children's Village.
The Education Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring that displaced children have access to quality education and support during times of crisis. By facilitating enrollment, coordinating resources, and engaging the community, the Education Assistant contributes to creating a nurturing and inclusive educational environment for displaced children in Baidoa and Hudur District, in alignment with the objectives of the ECW_FER Project and SOS Children's Village.
