Trócaire has been working in Gedo in health & nutrition and education for over 30 years. Currently, Trócaire implements Health, Nutrition, Humanitarian and Education Programme activities in partnership with local organisations working in the livelihood, protection and resilience sectors as partners.
The Health and Nutrition Programme is seeking a skilled and experienced Community Health (CH) Coordinator. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical expertise and programme management leadership for the ECHO project, as well as other related community health initiatives.
Under the supervision of the Health and Nutrition Programme Manager, the CH Coordinator will oversee the implementation of Integrated Community Case Management (iCCM) activities across supported districts. This includes contributing to the design, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of effective and sustainable iCCM strategies, ensuring the achievement of project goals and deliverables.

Reporting to the Health and Nutrition Manager**.** This is a fixed-term position for one year and is based in Gedo region of Somalia.

Behavioural Competencies in Line with Trócaire’s Competency Framework
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Medicine and Community Health, or Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health with a background in nursing. A strong requirement of valid and current license to practice from relevant bodies.
