STS International Solidarity is a humanitarian non-profit organization that is dedicated to alleviating poverty, improving livelihoods, protecting children, empowering women, and saving lives of the vulnerable communities in Somalia and beyond. We reach out to poor and vulnerable children and their families that need help securing basics such as food and water, accessing health care, obtaining literacy skills, improving livelihoods, or seeking protection. Fuelled by knowledge that our work makes a difference, STS International’s varied programs are focused on WASH, Education, Health and Nutrition, Agriculture, Peace Building and other areas. Our primary target is the children, women, as well as the youth, 60% of whom make the population in Somalia. Through our programs, lives are saved, and other people’s lives changed for the better. We also use our knowledge and experience to influence decisions made in Somalia at the local and national level that can significantly reduce extreme poverty, empower women and enhance livelihoods. Getting involved with STS International will lead to many possibilities and everyone has the power to make a difference in someone’s life. Whether through financial support or volunteering, we can work in solidarity in creating a positive impact by providing relief, or supporting poverty-stricken families to attain the strength to take control, solve their own problems, and rely on themselves.
