Job Description

Background:
The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation’s (SDC) Private Sector Partnerships in
Health (PSPH) Programme adopts a Market Systems Development (MSD) approach. It aims to
provide better access to quality and affordable health services for Somaliland citizens, including
the most disadvantaged groups. The program focuses on developing pro-poor healthcare
financing mechanisms and facilitating the delivery of inclusive health services by organized
private providers. Implemented by DT Global on behalf of SDC, in collaboration with SORDI
and Swiss TPH, PSPH is managed as a unified Programme under the Technical Director.
PSPH is supporting Yenisom Healthcare, which is seeking to enhance its digital presence to
improve client engagement and promote its products and services. The Intervention partner
recognizes the growing importance of technology and digital engagement in healthcare. By
leveraging an integrated website and social media presence, they aim to increase market
competitiveness, strengthen brand awareness, and enhance service delivery while effectively
communicating with their clients.
Enhancing Yenisom Healthcare’s digital presence will expand its market reach, strengthen
relationships with pharmacies and hospitals, and simplify product ordering through an interactive
website. Improved digital marketing and analytics will increase visibility, attract new clients, and
build brand trust. Together, these efforts will boost sales efficiency, competitiveness, and longterm business growth while aligning with PSPH’s goal of strengthening private-sector health
services.
To achieve this, we require the services of a skilled Digital Marketing Consultant and Website
Developer who will design an interactive website, set up and manage social media pages
(Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok), and advise the Intervention partners on their digital
marketing needs.
Objectives of the Assignment:
• Website Upgrade and modernization: Redesign and rebuild Yenisom’s website to be modern,
fast, mobile-first, and SEO-ready.
• Develop a Product Directory and Ordering System: Establish a searchable online catalog of
medicines and medical products with an integrated order/inquiry feature.
• Strengthen Social Media Presence: Set up and brand Yenisom’s official pages on Facebook,
LinkedIn, and TikTok and launch initial awareness campaigns.
• Build Capacity and Sustainability: Train Yenisom staff to manage content and analytics;
provide 12 months of light maintenance.
Scope of Work:
- Website Redesign & Development (front-end and Back-end development)
o Redesign and modernize the existing Yenisom Healthcare website to ensure it is
fully responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with the organization’s branding and
objectives.
o Ensure SEO optimization and integration with social media platforms.
o Provide website maintenance and troubleshooting for 12 months.
- Product Directory and Online Ordering: Develop a searchable online directory displaying
all medicines and products manufactured by Yenisom, including product details, images,
and specifications, and integrate a simple order/inquiry feature for clients to place orders
directly through the website.
- Social Media Setup
o Create and design professional profiles on Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
o Ensure consistent branding and content alignment with Yenisom’s corporate
identity.
- Digital Marketing Management
o Advise on targeted digital campaigns to boost reach and client engagement.
o Monitor analytics and generate performance reports to guide continuous
improvement.

Experiences and Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified individuals and firms that meet the following qualifications and experience are invited

- Proven experience in website design and development, specifically, a PHP and
WordPress developer with expertise in WooCommerce plugins.
- Strong background in social media management and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and online advertising.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Previous experience working with healthcare organizations is a distinct advantage.
