1. Background
iRise Hub is implementing the Nagaasho program aimed at strengthening community resilience and economic empowerment through Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA). As part of this initiative, a two-day training will be conducted in Afgooye targeting community participants.
2. Objective
The objective of this ToR is to solicit qualified service providers to deliver venue and catering services for the Nagaasho VSLA Training in Afgooye.
3. Scope of Services
3.1 Venue Requirements
The service provider shall provide:
* A secure, clean, and accessible training venue in Afgooye
* Capacity to accommodate 50 participants per day for two days (Total 200 participants split across eight days)
* Adequate seating arrangements (chairs, tables)
* Training setup (projector, screen, flipcharts, markers)
* Reliable electricity (with backup generator if possible)
* Clean and functional sanitation facilities (separate for men and women)
* Drinking water availability
* Proper ventilation or air conditioning
3.2 Catering Services
The service provider shall provide catering for 50 participants per day including:
* Morning tea/coffee with snacks
* Lunch (balanced, hygienic, and culturally appropriate meals)
* Sufficient bottled or safe drinking water throughout the day
3.3 VSLA Kits
Purchase of VSLA Kits that composed of:
* Eight metal boxes with three lockers in each box.
* Sixteen blue Cash Books
* Eight Boxes of marker pens
* Eight pieces of Flip charts.
* Eight small Techno Phones
4. Duration
* 8 days total training duration
* Participants will attend in groups of 50 per day
5. Deliverables
* Fully arranged venue ready before each training day
* Timely provision of all meals and refreshments
* On-site support staff to manage catering and venue logistics
6. Eligibility Criteria
Interested bidders must:
* Be a registered business with valid operating license
* Have proven experience in providing catering and/or event/venue services
* Demonstrate capacity to deliver services in Afgooye
7. Proposal Requirements
Interested service providers are required to submit:
* Company profile
* Valid business license
* Technical proposal (approach to service delivery)
* Financial proposal (detailed budget breakdown)
* Relevant experience and references
