Pre-Qualification of Suppliers, Contractors and Service Providers

WARDI is a national non-governmental organization operating across South-Central Somalia, delivering humanitarian and development programs in sectors including health, nutrition, WASH, education, food security and livelihoods, protection, resilience, and emergency response. 

WARDI Relief and Development Initiative (WARDI) invites applications from interested, eligible, and qualified suppliers, contractors, and service providers for pre-qualification for the supply of goods, works, and services for the period March 2026 to February 2029. 

Purpose of the Pre-Qualification

The pre-qualification exercise aims to establish a reliable and vetted database of suppliers who meet minimum technical, financial, legal, and ethical standards to support WARDI procurement activities. 

Pre-qualified suppliers will be eligible to participate in future procurement opportunities including Requests for Quotations (RFQ), Invitations to Bid (ITB), and Requests for Proposals (RFP). Pre-qualification does not guarantee contract award. 

Who Should Apply

WARDI encourages applications from:

• Local and national suppliers
• Women-owned businesses
• Youth-led enterprises
• Suppliers operating within WARDI program locations
• Suppliers capable of operating across multiple regions

Geographical Coverage

Suppliers operating in the following regions and beyond are encouraged to apply:

• Banadir Region
• Hirshabelle State
• Galmudug State
• Southwest State
• Jubbaland State
• Other potential WARDI operational areas.

Mandatory Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must provide:

• Mandatory Requirements as per the Terms of Reference (ToR)
• Signed annexes (Annexes I-V)
• Category-specific supporting documents
