Tender Bid Invitation: Made Product Metal for Improved Grain Storage (Silos cylindrical) for Local Farmers

1.    Tender Invitation

Candlelight with support from Development Fund is implementing a project titled Improving Food security to build community resilience in Somaliland, In Project areas of  Magaalo Qaloc and Magaalo  Cad Villages.-Borama district, Awdal region.  In order to enhance in areas of Food and nutrition security, Household economy Adaptive capacity to climate change, Social inclusion and gender equity and Grass-root organizations’ for local communities in those targeted locations. Therefore, Candlelight is willing  to deliver new technology Improved Grain Storage (Silos cylindrical) to those Local farmers   rather than traditional use of  underground  grain storage pits,  Which are  not secure  for  crop safety during  rainy floods  contact into pits   that results  to  lose  local farmers  their  crop production  for  food  and household income. Thus, Candlelight  is  seeking  service  contractor/bidder who are  highly qualified  to  made Product  Metal  for  Improved Grain Storage (Silos cylindrical) for Local Farmers. ANNEX Π 

2. Request for Quotation (RFQ):  Bidding for  Imroved grain storage Silos are one hundred with quatity of  one hundred  saventy (170 pcs)  in capacity of  grain storage    0.7021 M³  (Cube meter).  More detalis in  ANNEX 1:  Silos Technical Specification and Design (Template 1)
3. Accompanying Annexes: The  bidder  is required  to fill  bellow  ANNEX  and submit to CANDLELIGHT office,  The bidder  who not  submitted  with ANNEX shell be disqualifies  of  his/her    request   in Tender computation  process.

ANNEX 3; Signed Suppliers/Bidder Cover Latter for   Tender Application Candlelight Template 3)

2. Bidder Required Mandatory Document :

ü   ANNEX 1: Signed Silos Technical Specification and Design (Template 1)

ü  ANNEX 2:  Financial Quotation Offer Signed (Candlelight Quotation Template 2) with Lead Time for completion Silos  production  and delivery readiness  to transport project  sites

ü  ANNEX 3; Signed Suppliers/Bidder Cover Latter for   Tender Application Candlelight Template 3)

ü  ANNEX 4: Completed Suppliers Relevant Experience of Improved Grain Storage“ Silos”(Candlelight Template 4)

ü  Business Profile with Physical Adress 

ü  Proof registration license valid for Vendors “Metal Fabricator Workshop” from Hargeisa local government or Valid license for  Procurement  company  from Ministry of Trade

ü  Proof of financial strength ‘’bank statement“all bidders for tha last six months with bank. Valid Revenue Tax clearance only for Procurement trading companies  original.

ü  Suppliers Relevant Experience of Improved Grain Storage Silos with attached Contracts or Recommendations letters.

3. ELIGIBLE BIDDERS:  Due to  bid time factor, the  eligible  suppliers  are only procurment trading companies and  Vendors “Metal Fabricator Workshop” based in hargiesa in order  to avoid  thirdy party contractors. Metal Fabricator Workshops are more encouraged  to  apply  this  bid.
