Temporary / Casual / Enumerator – (Pool staff)
World Vision International Somaliland is looking for graduates in the following disciplines;
Business Administration, Procurement, Human Resource Management, Health and Nutrition, Food Security and Livelihood, Statistics and WASH, and Infrastructure, Education from both public and private universities in Somaliland. The opportunity offers graduates real work experience under the guidance of dedicated professional supervisors who ensure they demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, cross-cultural sensitivity, flexibility, and emotional maturity and ensure they are ready for the workplace and committed to servant leadership in society.
Primary roles and responsibilities include:
1. Data Collection & Community Engagement (Generic pool)
· Conduct household surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions.
· Collect and report food security trends, market dynamics, and project impact.
· Assist in beneficiary identification and registration for livelihood projects.
2. Project Implementation Support (Food Security and Livelihoods, and WASH pool)
· Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL): support the implementation of FSL activities, including cash-for-work (CFW), agriculture, livestock management, business development, market assessments, and community resilience projects.
· WASH: support the implementation of WASH activities and approaches, including health promotion, community-led total sanitation (CLTS,) child hygiene and sanitation transformation (CHAST), and/ or Participatory Hygiene and Sanitation Methodology (PHAST) tools.
The successful candidates will be called upon periodically and on a need basis. They will be offered short-term contracts to work within various departments.
