RE-ADVERTISEMENT OF INVITATION TO BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ONE

NEW HAFFIR DAM AND ASSOCIATED ANCILLARY WATER SUPPLY AND

DISTRIBUTIO INFRASTRUCTURE, INCLUDING PUMPING AND UV TREATMENT

SYSTEM, WATER STORAGE TANK, WATER KIOSK WITH TAPS, LIVESTOCK

WATERING TROUGHS, WATCHMAN  HOUSE, AND HYBRID SOLAR–GENERATOR

POWER SYSTEM, TO ENSURE SAFE,  RELIABLE, AND SUSTAINABLE WATER ACCESS FOR BOTH HUMAN AND LIVESTOCK USE IN XALIN VILLAGE IN TALEX DISTRICT.

ALIGHT (formerly ARC) is implementing WASH. In reference to this, ALIGHT invites tender from qualified, registered companies as detailed above, the detail description is summarized in accordance with procedures, conditions, and contract terms, as specified in this tender document and the BOQ. 

Alight Somalia is seeking qualified contractors for the subject of the above head title. 

(All tender documents MUST be submitted on company’s letter head and on ALIGHT/ARC template provided as part of the tender documents).

1. Qualification and Conditions: The main criteria for admission to the tender process are as follows:
   • A duly completed and signed priced offer as per the Bills of Quantities (BoQ). 
     • The bidder shall provide copies of current, valid licenses/registrations for Public Works and Commerce, issued by both the Federal Government of Somalia and State level. 
     • Tax compliance certificate at the federal and state levels. 
     • Updated financial bank statement for the last six months. 
     • The bidder shall submit a detailed list of at least three (3) contracts of similar nature (e.g., construction of Haffir dams and associated water infrastructure) successfully completed within the last five (5) years, each with a minimum contract value of USD 150,000. For each contract, provide. 
     • CV of key technical staff with signed curriculum vitae to be attached 
     • Proposal work methodology and construction schedules. 
     • List of equipment owned or leased by the company

1. Tender will be opened thereafter immediately in the presence of procurement committee 
   1. Selected Vendor will notify through email after completion of paperwork 
   2. Selected vendor will receive his/her service amount after 100% completion of contract
