RE-ADVERTISEMENT

PREQUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION WORK IN GAROWE PUNTLAND STATE

DATE: 5th February 2025

Reference No: PNTB04/2025.

NIS is looking for qualified contractors to undertake construction work in Garowe Puntland state of Somalia.

All interested construction contractors are requested to submit their applications together with below listed support documentations and other specific requirements for evaluation.

Licences/Registrations: The company should submit the following registrations/Licenses.

Valid registration or operating license permits from Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Transport of Puntland State
Valid registration or operating license permits from Ministry of Commerce Puntland State.
- Valid registration or operating license permits from Puntland Tender Board.

Valid Tax compliance certificate: Submit evidence valid tax compliance certificate from Ministry of Finance of Puntland State.
Proof/evidence of company ownership: all bidders shall submit a signed public notary document stating the ownership of the company including names, positions/titles, contact details and shares owned
Similar or relevant experience: The company should fill in the below table for previous 3 main similar signed contracts on construction works with monetary value worth each of USD 100,000 to $300,000 and above. The company should present relevant contract implemented for the last (7) years. Contracts with value below $100,000 will not be considered in evaluation.

Note: Please attach only the proof of the 3 signed contracts implemented with INGO’s and UN Agencies.

Table 1: Please fill the below table the details of 3 contracts.

Human resources: Possess necessary resources, and ability to mobilize such a resource at short notice to undertake project works (Please attach CVs of all relevant personnel i.e., Engineers).
Company Finances: presents a confirmation for pre-financing project work as this is necessary or certified bank statements.
