Project Coordinator-Immunization-Baidoa
The Role Summary:
The Project Coordinator-Immunization will provide overall leadership, coordination, technical oversight, and management of the GiveWell Immunization Program across targeted districts in South West State (SWS) and Jubaland State (JBL). S/he will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supporting implementation of routine immunization and outreach activities in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health, State Ministries of Health, District Health Authorities, implementing partners, and health facilities.
The coordinator will ensure quality implementation of immunization interventions aimed at increasing vaccine coverage, reaching zero-dose and under-immunized children, strengthening routine immunization systems, and improving immunization service delivery in accordance with national EPI policies, WHO standards, and donor requirements. The position will provide strategic oversight to all project activities, monitor project performance and budgets, strengthen partnerships with government and implementing partners, ensure timely reporting, and support evidence-based decision-making to achieve GiveWell-funded project objectives.
