Project Coordinator-Food Security & Livelihood
The Role:
The Position holder will be responsible for the day to day delivery, implementation, coordination and reporting on the results of the Anticipatory Action & Climate Resilience along Transhumance Corridors in Somalia (AART) Project, using an adaptive management, learning and reflection approach to achieve outcomes and impact for meaningful and lasting change for children. The project coordinator will work closely with other functions including Program Development, MEAL, Operations, Security, and Supply Chain to meet all project-related objectives. The project coordinator will be accountable for effective and efficient management of the AART Project in ways that ensure resources are fully utilized, and are focused on reaching strategic objectives, meeting donor expectations, and adhering to all internal and external standards
The position holder will also provide the representation of the projects to donor(s), Local Authorities and regional government in Southwest, and other key stakeholders. S/he will be responsible for maintaining communication with the project sub –grantees and oversee coordination of their technical activities within the project framework, as well as monitoring the burn rate of the partner's budget and track the budget and guide implementing partner NGOs to maintain the financial records properly.

Working Environment:
The position is field-based in Baidoa with frequent travel to field operation areas required.
