Tender Description

ALIGHT Horn of Africa is a non-profit, non-sectarian, international humanitarian organization working with Refugees and IDPs for more than 40 years providing primary health care and clean water, shelter, protection, education, livelihood support and economic opportunity to more than 3.5 million people, in solidarity with the people, we serve who are too often defined by a single dark moment in their lives, we’re dropping the label ‘refugee.’ Alight sees and helps every person make meaningful change in the world – from displaced and marginalized communities in Africa, Asia and the Americas to…anyone, anywhere.

ALIGHT Horn of Africa has been working in Somaliland since 2013, and has a permanent presence in Hargeisa, with an overall objective to enhance protection and promote the rights of displaced persons in Humanitarian need by improving and seeking durable solutions by providing primary health care, protection, training and skill transfer, income generating projects and other related services to innocent people uprooted by war and civil conflict.  ALIGHT Horn of Africa provides assistance to more than million refugees, displaced persons, returnees, and host communities where possible. 

In reference to this, ALIGHT Horn of Africa cordially invites Interested and eligible respective bidders with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar work for the Construction of 30 emergency communal latrines disabled and no disabled latrines and rehabilitation of 10 Communal latrines for IDP’s and Poor HH’s in Oog, Ainabo, Sool Region as per the terms and conditions provided in this ITB and the Provided BOQ and deigns.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

ALIGHT Horn of Africa invites Interested Bidders with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar works to submit invitation to bid in a SEALED envelope and be deposited/delivered at ALIGHT Horn of Africa Tender Box in Hargeisa Office Respectively. (All Price estimates Must be submitted on ALIGHT Horn of Africa scope of work format).

   B. Quote envelope should be sealed with the reference and must stamped.
   C. Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address
   D. Most recent Bank statements.
   E. Price Estimate.
   F. Workplan / Lead time.
   G. Mode of Payment
   H. Valid Registration certificates for Somaliland Government
   I. Tax Clearance Certificate
   J. Evidence of Past Experience in a similar work (LPOs/Contracts, Recommendation letter etc.)
   K. All bids should be written in English.

Interested Contractors with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar work are here by invited to submit their Bid in a SEALED envelope, clearly marked with the quote reference as mentioned in the above table Construction of 30 Communal Latrines and Rehabilitation of 10 Communal Latrines for IDPs and Poor Households in Oog, Ainabo, Sool Region and be deposited/delivered at Alight Horn of Africa office in Hargeisa Office. (All Qoutes Must be submitted on ALIGHT Horn of Africa scope of work format but on the applying party Letter Head).
