Invitation to Bid No.: ITB-SOM-HGA-2026-001 – Construction of TVET Centre at Arabsiyo.
Dear Sir/Madam:
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) has received funding from SIDA for the implementation of the SIDA III Project under the SomRep Consortium in the Awdal and Marodijeh regions of Somaliland. In line with the project objectives, DRC hereby invites qualified and eligible contractors to submit bids for the construction of a TVET Centre in Arabsiyo, as detailed in the attached DRC Bid Form – Annex A and accompanying tender documents.
Interested bidders are requested to submit their technical and financial offers in accordance with the instructions, specifications, and conditions outlined in the solicitation documents.
Tender Details
Important information regarding this ITB:
DRC may choose to cancel the agreement if deemed necessary.
DRC may choose to split the contract award to more than one supplier.
The Completion time of the Contract shall be within 90 Days of Signing a Contract. DRC may terminate the contract or impose other penalties if the supplier fails to deliver within this period.
All Services and Works shall be delivered as per DDP INCOTERMS 2020 to Arabsiyo – Gabiley District.
No advance payment will be paid to the awarded supplier. The awarded supplier is expected to mobilize its own resources to deliver the agreed material.
Selection and Award Criteria
This tender will be awarded to the lowest cost technically compliant bid. The technical evaluation criteria are as per the specifications stated in Annex A.
Administrative Evaluation
A bid shall pass the administrative evaluation stage before being considered for technical and financial evaluation. Bids that are deemed administratively non-compliant may be rejected. Documents listed below shall be submitted with your bid.
When Bids are emailed the following conditions shall be complied with:
Failure to comply with the above may disqualify the Bid.
DRC is not responsible for the failure of the Internet, network, server, or any other hardware, or software, used by either the Bidder or DRC in the processing of emails.
DRC is not responsible for the non-receipt of Bids submitted by email as part of the e-Tendering process.
Bids can be submitted in one of two ways; hardcopy or electronically. If the Bidder submits a Bid in both Hardcopy and electronically, DRC will choose the version that is the most advantageous to DRC.
