Mercy-USA for Aid and Development (Mercy-USA) is a Non-Profit making organization, dedicated to alleviating human suffering and supporting individuals and their communities in their efforts to become more self-sufficient. Incorporated in the State of Michigan in 1988, Mercy-USA’s projects focus on improving health, nutrition and access to safe water and as well as promoting economic and educational growth around the world.

Mercy-USA Somalia Program has been implementing Health, Nutrition, Education and wash among other projects funded by it is HQ and Donors since 1994 in Somalia, Currently, Mercy-USA is also implementing a health project in Beledweyne District, funded by OCHA under project code SOM/PCA2021286/PD2023711, titled: ‘Provision of Life-Saving Health Services to Crisis-Affected Populations in Beledweyne District, Hiraan Region, Somalia and this advert is 100% funded with OCHA Funds.

Mercy-USA Somalia program hereby invites qualified and interested Companies to submit required documents and bids for the Procurement of Health supplies from Mogadishu to be used for facilities in Beledweyne District.

Requirements for Tender Documents

1. Validity of the Quotation once submitted: 21days from the day of submission
2. Quotation/Bid Deadline date: 3rd October 2025 at 3pm
3. Date supplies required: tentatively on 10th October 2025
4. Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address including email address, phone number and copy of identification document of passport or ID of the company management representatives
5. Most recent Bank statements (printed in last 6months), with full details of account movement.
6. Transaction bank: Dahabshill bank Account
7. Valid Commercial License from relevant federal government ministry and Banadir Region
8. Tax Clearance from the Ministry of Finance Federal Government of Somalia
9. Evidence of Past Experience in medical supplies- LPOs/Contracts, etc.
10. Currency: US Dollars.
11. The Financial proposal is inclusive of cost of delivering the items from Mogadishu to Beledweyne field office warehouse
12. Payments terms: 100% payment upon completion of work upon providing verified requisite supporting documents for payment processing (Delivery must occur within the agreed timeline and be accompanied by, packaging list, Delivery Note, acknowledgement of receipt and invoice)
13. Completeness of documentations: Partial bids will not be accepted.
14. Language: English.
15. Bids: Bids should be submitted from the application provided.
16. Evaluations of Quotations: Only responsive bidders to the technical specifications of the bid will be evaluated.
17. Award of Contract will be awarded to the acceptable technically qualified bidder. The successful bidder will sign a Contract as per Mercy-USA East Africa program General Conditions of Contract for Procurement of Goods or Services.
