Position Background:
The Internship Programme is a learning opportunity aimed at attracting young and talented candidates/students with

Duties and Responsibilities
• You will be assigned to work with specific units within WFP Somalia (e.g. HR, MEAL, Gender and protection units)
• Specific ToR/job description will be developed once the staff is onboarded respectively.
Education: The Internship Programme is open to candidates who meet one of the following criteria:
• Graduated from high school (High school certificate required).
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human resource, monitoring and evaluation,
communications, finance, economics, Information technology and any other relevant fields.
• Candidates should be fresh graduates (maximum of 2 years’ time).
Knowledge and Experience
• No prior experience required.
• Basic knowledge of computer skills and use of Microsoft office (word, excel, power point).
Language: Intermediate knowledge (level B) in English and fluency in Somali.
Terms and Conditions:
• Up on receiving proof of certificate or relevant qualifications.
• Interns will receive a monthly stipend from WFP.
• WFP is not responsible for living expenses, arrangements for accommodation, travel to and from the WFP
internship location, necessary visas, and related costs.
