JOB SUMMARY
The Health Project Intern will be based at Maternal and Child Health Centers (MCHs) and will be responsible for carrying out beneficiary registration on the Electronic Beneficiary Management System (EBMS). They will facilitate the withdrawal and deposit of entitlements for beneficiaries, ensuring the appropriate use of these entitlements. Additionally, the intern will play a key role in forming Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA) among project beneficiaries for future programming and community development initiatives.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
The Health Project Intern will focus on beneficiary registration, management of entitlements, and the formation of VSLAs among project beneficiaries. They will work closely with project staff, beneficiaries, and community members to ensure the effective implementation of project activities.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS:
Bachelor's degree in public health, health management, social work, or community development, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
This position offers valuable hands-on experience in health project management, community development, and financial inclusion initiatives. The Health Project Intern will play a vital role in supporting the successful implementation of the project and contributing to positive outcomes for project beneficiaries and the community at large.
