SRCS (Bisha Cas) is seeking a qualified candidate for the following position;
Job Title: First Aid and Pre-Hospital Emergency Care(FAPHEC) Manager
Grade: Band 6
Reporting to: Director of Integrated Health and Nutrition.

Over all job purpose
Coordinate the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of First Aid and Prehospital products and services that empower volunteers and communities to respond effectively to emergencies and disasters within their operational areas. Develop and implement capacity-building programs and facilitate training workshops aimed at strengthening community-based First Aid and Prehospital, routine First Aid and Pre-hospital classes, pre-hospital emergency care, and volunteer response teams. Additionally, promote and market the delivery of commercial First Aid and Pre-hospital services as a sustainable income-generating activity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Programme Planning & Implementation
Coordinate the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the First Aid and Prehospital and Pre- hospital program in line with strategic objectives, covering both community-based and commercial First Aid and Pre-hospital, as well as pre-hospital emergency care.
Coordinate the design and development of First Aid and Pre-hospital and pre-hospital multi-media training programmes, including guidelines and manuals, to address the needs of volunteers, communities, and organizations.
Coordinate the development and implementation of effective marketing and promotional campaigns aimed at sensitizing communities and institutions about First Aid and Pre-hospital and pre-hospital emergency care training.
Coordinate the preparation of funding proposals and appeals for material assistance in line with the strategic plan, ensuring adherence to donor requirements.
Design, develop, and deliver First Aid and Pre-hospital and pre-hospital emergency care training to target communities to enable them to respond effectively to emergencies and disasters within their operational areas.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor and review project implementation, providing strategic inputs to ensure programme obligations are properly met.
Prepare timely progress reports against planned activities in line with donor grant requirements.
Operations Management
Assist with event planning and implementation in support with programme counterparts
Coordinate the development and implementation of capacity building programmes aimed at equipping and strengthening staff and volunteers with capacity to provide First Aid and Prehospital emergency care.
Support logistic arrangements for project activities in coordination with the Administration Department
Maintain proper inventory records of goods and equipment in compliance with control systems.
External Relationships
Represent SRCS at various fora and attend relevant meetings and events to promote First Aid and Pre-hospital programme activities
Foster partnership and networks with stakeholders, government ministries, humanitarian actors and community-based groups in the development and implementation of First Aid and Prehospital programmes
Build and foster alliances and networks that enhance sharing, learning and collaboration among relevant organizations and individuals involved in First Aid and Pre-hospital training
Perform other related duties as assigned by the SRCS Senior Management
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional practice in Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Health, Social work, Community Development or equivalent qualifications
Required Job Experience and Competencies
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a humanitarian or development organization as
well as experience in First Aid and Pre-hospital program and developing the capacity of
Staff, volunteers and communities to respond to emergency and disasters
Demonstrating consistency in upholding integrity and ethics
Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to the fundamental principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
Team leader with demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills
Effective communications and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate openness to change & ability to manage complexities
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills and ability to manage intergroups dynamics and mediate conflicting interests
Excellent writing skills, analytical capacity to synthesize project outputs and findings for the preparation of quality programme reports
Maturity & confidence in dealing with senior and high-ranking officials
Remain calm, in control and good humoured even under pressure
Respond positively to critical feedback and differing points of views
Proficiency in computer office packages word, excel, power point
We offer:
SRCS offers a contract of one year, renewable depending on both funding and performance. Salary and Benefits are according to SRCS terms of employment for national staff.
