Duration of Contract: 7 Months

The Cook will be responsible for the following:
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with approved menus and
schedules
Ensure meals are nutritious, well-presented, and served on time
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
at all times
Clean and properly store kitchen utensils, equipment, and
appliances
Ensure food is stored safely and appropriately to avoid spoilage or
contamination .
Assist with menu planning and food preparation as required
Monitor food supplies and inform the supervisor of items that need
replenishment
Minimize food waste and ensure cost-effective use of ingredients
Follow health, safety, and food handling regulations
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Minimum of [1–3] years’ experience working as a cook. Basic knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation
practices
Ability to prepare a variety of meals
Previous experience in an institution, or organizational
kitchen is an advantage
