Programme Background.
The Somalia Resilience Programme (SomReP) is a consortium of seven international non-governmental organizations (INGO) and one Local NGO. SomReP works to enhance the resilience of chronically vulnerable households, communities and systems across Somalia.
The Somalia Resilience Program (SomReP) is an ambitious approach to tackle the challenge of recurrent droughts and the chronic vulnerability among pastoralists, agro-pastoralists, and peri-urban households in one of the poorest countries in the world. SomReP is being implemented through a consortium of 7 INGOs (ACF, ADRA, CARE, COOPI, DRC, Oxfam and WVI) and 1 Local NGO (Shaqodoon)
Through Somalia Enhanced Resilience through Inclusive Economic/Market Systems development and Climate Smart Approaches (SERECA) and SIDA projects, SomReP would like to engage a qualified and dynamic consultant to support Photos, Video and story documentation for all related economic development and Market system interventions.

Overall Purpose
The overall objective of this consultancy is to produce visibility content including short videos, stories and photographs that can be used in various communications platforms, advocacy and donor/external engagement forums. This assignment will involve travelling to remote locations of Dollow in southern region of Gedo, El Afweyne, and Hargeisa in Somaliland.

Overall Purpose
This Terms of Reference (ToR) has been prepared to commission the services of a highly competent external Videography/Photography consultancy service to prepare video footage and high-resolution photos with stories of this project.
The purpose of this assignment is to showcase the impact of SOMREP Market systems interventions to the community, highlight on the systemic issues that impact the lives of children and their families as well as solutions to address those challenges. The content will be shared with donors and SOMREP partners. It will be used to show success externally at a global audience as well as on various communication platforms including digital media channels. The consultant, cognizant of various target audiences, every content collected should observe sensitivities and dignity of the community members while highlighting the issues affecting them.
Specific Objective of the documentation
To understand the contributions of SomReP activities in strengthening the capacity of the households and communities in adapting to the changing context.
To document the success stories and the impact registered during the project period as a result of program interventions in the target locations.
Scope of Work
The consultant will travel to the designated project locations and take photos, conduct interviews with partners, beneficiaries and stakeholders, document video stories on the project interventions that show change with specific focus on children, women and their families. This will particularly highlight key project achievements including showing evidence on impact of the project to the community.
The interviews or documentary will cover the following areas: Financial inclusion partners (Banks/MFIs), VSLA, Onion markets, Livestock markets, Agro-dealers, GAP and online feedback mechanism (Training and operations) beneficiaries.
In close collaboration with the Economic development and Market systems advisor and SOMREP project Manager/Coordinator, the consultant in line with principles of the TOR will:
Prepare creative concept scripts with key messages aligned with the project goals/objectives
Visit projects and document videos, photos, capture key voices/stories of change/success
Collect B-Rolls to be used to develop various cuts of video and photo stories
Edit content professionally with English language and sub titles as required and soundtrack.
Present the rough cut of videos to the Communication department and project Coordination team for feedback, adjustments and approval
Selection of a range of high-resolution photographs (around 40) and provision of detailed captions.
Revise the videos based on input and adjustments by approvers
Submit of revised and finalized video stories and well-captioned photographs.
Submission of all the raw footage
