SRCS – Somaliland together with the Norwegian Red Cross (NoRC), which are part of the Red Cross and Red Crescent movement (world's largest humanitarian network), invites qualified consultants or consultancy firms to submit proposals for conducting an end-line evaluation of the Integrated Community Case Management (ICCM) intervention in the Togdheer region, Somaliland.
Background
Since 2018, SRCS has implemented community-based health initiatives aimed at improving early detection and response to health threats in remote communities. In 2022, ICCM was introduced to complement these initiatives, focusing on providing curative care for common childhood illnesses such as pneumonia, diarrhoea, malaria, and malnutrition. This intervention, funded by ECHO under its Programmatic Partnership initiative, seeks to reduce child mortality and enhance community health resilience.
Purpose of the Consultancy
The primary goal of this evaluation is to assess the effectiveness, sustainability, and impact of the ICCM intervention on community health systems and service delivery.
