REFERENCE NO: PL/IRS/RWAS II/PNTB050/AUG-2024/GAROWE/ REHABILITATION OF BHS IN XAARXAAR AND JALAM/DARISALAM BOREHOLES

Islamic Relief Worldwide is an international humanitarian organization that has been working in Puntland since 2006. We are committed to achieving our core vision of caring for the people of concern in all countries where we work. Our goal is to provide vulnerable communities in Puntland with access to basic needs including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, Basic Health services and Livelihood Support.

Islamic Relief Somalia has been implementing project of Reliable Water for Somalia (RWAS-II) which aims improvement of community water accessibility and enhancing their resilience to the droughts through drilling, equipping, rehabilitation of deep borehole in Burtinle town and sounded villages in Nugal regions of Puntland.

Islamic Relief Somalia hereby invites to the potential bidders with the following BHs rehabilitation work as per the below table:

Please note Tender document with detail specification will be available and collect at logistics unit of Islamic Relief Garowe office, with address; Along Galkaiyo-Garowe Highway | Opposite state house junction | Behind Masjid Omar Binu Abdul-Aziz | Mubarak Section, Garowe, Puntland, SOMALIA from 20th August – 02th September, 2024 (04:00 PM).

Interested eligible contractors with sound capacity, relevant experience in similar work and duly registered under Puntland government are here by invited to collect tender document from Islamic Relief Garowe Office at the above address.

Requirements for Tender Documents

6. f)Most recent Bank statements (printed in last 6months), with full details of account movement.
7. g)Valid Commercial License from the Ministry of Commerce.
8. h)Valid Public of Work registration from the Ministry of Public Work.
9. i)Tender Board Registration
10. j)Tax Clearance from the Ministry of Finance
11. k)Evidence of Past Experience in a similar/relevant work (civil works/rehabilitation, etc) E.g. (LPOs/Contracts, etc.).
12. l)Currency: US Dollars.
13. m)Payments:All the faces of the (contracted) payments shall be made after 3 months from the time of completion of the task being contracted.
14. n)Completeness of documentations: Partial bids will not be accepted.
15. o)Language: English
16. p)Bids: Bids should be submitted on the IRS RFQ signed and fully stamped.
17. q)Evaluations of Quotations: Only responsive bidders to the technical specifications of the bid will be evaluated.
18. r)Award of a Purchase Order/Contract: PO/Contract will be awarded to lowest acceptable priced technically qualified bidder. The successful bidder will sign a Contract (Purchase Order) as per the Islamic Relief Somalia General Conditions of Contract for Procurement of Goods or Services.
