Islamic Relief Worldwide is an international humanitarian organization that has been working in Puntland since 2006. We are committed to achieving our core vision of caring for the people of concern in all countries where we work. Our goal is to provide vulnerable communities in Puntland with access to basic needs including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, Basic Health services and Livelihood Support.

Islamic Relief Somalia has been implementing project of Livelihood Opportunities for Yemen Refugees in Puntland (LYP) which aims improvement of Yemen’s refugees community livelihood and enhancing their resilience through their livelihood skills, capacity building trainings, and small-scale business development in Qardho, Karkar region of Puntland, Somalia.

Therefore, Islamic Relief Worldwide – Somalia (IRW-S) hereby invites to the potential bidders with the following distribution of hygiene kits and WASH NFIs to 600 vulnerable households in Qardho as per the below table:

Please note Tender document with detail specification will be available and collect at logistics unit of Islamic Relief Garowe office, with address; Along Galkaiyo-Garowe Highway | Opposite state house junction | Behind Masjid Omar Binu Abdul-Aziz | Mubarak Section, Garowe, Puntland, SOMALIA from 29th October – 11st November, 2024 (04:00 PM).

Interested eligible contractors with sound capacity, relevant experience in similar work and duly registered under Puntland government are here by invited to collect tender document from Islamic Relief Garowe Office at the above address.

Requirements for Tender Documents

a)   Validity of the Quotation:

b)   Delivery Time:

c)   Delivery Location: Qardho, Karkaar region

d)   Inco terms: DAP (Delivery at Place).

e)   Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address.

f)    Most recent Bank statements (printed in last 6months), with full details of account movement.

g)   Valid Commercial License from the Ministry of Commerce – Puntland.

h)   Valid Public of Work registration from the Ministry of Public Work – Puntland.

i)    Tender Board Registration – Puntland.

j)    Tax Clearance from the Ministry of Finance – Puntland.

k)   Evidence of Past Experience in a similar/relevant work (Supply of NFIs, Hygiene kits distribution, etc) E.g. (LPOs/Contracts, etc.).

l)    Currency: US Dollars.

m) Payments: All the faces of the (contracted) payments shall be made after 3 months from the time of completion of the task being contracted.

n)   Completeness of documentations: Partial bids will not be accepted.

o)   Language: English

p)   Bids: Bids should be submitted to the IRS office, with signed RFQ and fully stamped.

q)   Evaluations of Quotations: Only responsive bidders to the technical specifications of the bid will be evaluated.

r)    Award of a Purchase Order/Contract: PO/Contract will be awarded to lowest acceptable priced technically qualified bidder. The successful bidder will sign a Contract (Purchase Order) as per the Islamic Relief Somalia General Conditions of Contract for Procurement of Goods or Services.
