•Adhere to strict child and adult safeguarding policy and protection principles integrated in your daily duties and ensure you strictly support humanitarian protection specific to your sector.
•Adhere to strict behavior protocol that is signed on onboarding after protection and safeguarding induction.
•Report safeguarding allegations and incidents in ethics point and to all other provided channels.
•Create a safeguarding environment in the project and support your staff/team to report and make use of the WVS (SIPP)safeguarding incident management plan and ensure you and your staff utilize the Check list for intake of information for GBV incident to refer incidents for redress.
At least five years of experience in project management, people management, financial management, award cooperative agreement compliance, sub award management, and tracking project performance and costs. The incumbent must possess strong and demonstratable experience in the management of Contracts as opposed to grants.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
Bachelor’s degree in Environment, agriculture, Development studies, or another relevant field preferred.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Proven ability to manage complex partnership relationships/consortiums including effective coordination with host country government
Experience in partnership building and coordination with the donors, private sector, NGO and local community organizations, include experience in the management of contracts.
Experience and familiarity with a number of donor requirements, e.g. WFP; AFDP, FAO; UNHCR; UNICEF; DFID; EU; GF; USAID grants management.
Fluency in English.
Demonstrated strong analytical, managerial, leadership, communications and interpersonal skills.
Positive collaboration and facilitation skills; Leadership of large and diverse teams; Diplomacy
Proven experience in proposal writing and project reporting
Specific trainings on donor requirements e.g. DEC, G2G training, GoG Training, EuropeAid training and Security training
Must be able to build collaborative relationships, network and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders to facilitate and negotiate mutually satisfactory outcomes Strong analytical skills and high-level technical proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to use these tools to collect and analyse immunization program data.
Good business-oriented verbal, visual and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office with the use of IT facilities for information-sharing and/or database management
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
50 % Domestic, with some international travel, as required.
