Role: Programme Support Officer - Weapons Ammunition Management (WAM)
Reporting to: WAM Project Manager
Location: Mogadishu, Somalia
Contract: 12-month contract with possibility of extension
About the role:
The Programme Support Officer (PSO) is responsible for supporting the effective implementation and management of WAM-related projects. They offer administrative assistance to the WAM Project Manager and Programme Officer to ensure the successful delivery of projects funded by the U.S. donor, focusing on the safe management, storage, and disposal of weapons and ammunition. The PSO will support data management, reports writing, donor-facing communications and other materials, liaise with internal and external stakeholders and ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational standards.
