As an independent NGO, Action Against Hunger USA currently manages operations in 8 countries: Kenya, South Sudan, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia and Haiti. Action Against Hunger-USA has over $100 million in programs, and approximately 1,800 permanent staff based in New York City, Washington D.C, Nairobi, and country offices. Additional growth is anticipated. I. Summary of Position As a member of the Action Against Hunger Somalia Country Office, the Partnerships and Reporting Coordinator will champion ACF’s localization agenda, deepening collaborations and engagement with local partners. The position will also be accountable for quality, timely donor reporting that surpasses donor and ACF program quality expectations The Position Holder role’s purpose, engagement and delivery are as follows: Purpose: This role will strengthen ACF Somalia’s engagement with and management of local partners ensuring proper identification, assessments, capacity building as per ACF’s Local Partnership Policy. The role will also improve donor and partner reporting quality and compliance. Engagement: The Partnerships and Reporting Coordinator leads ACF Somalia’s engagement with its operational/implementing partners. At the country office level, the position will work with the program, finance and compliance teams and at regional level with ACF HEARO Regional grants management teams Delivery: the position will be accountable for timely, quality donor reporting, clear communication and engagement with implementing partners and functional partner capacity building plans.
