Job Description:

Logistics Officer

 

The Role Summary:

The position holder will provide Warehousing & Distribution support and will lead in timely and accountable dispatch of supplies in support of operations. The incumbent will coordinate the development and tracking of logistical plans.  The position holder will promote awareness of policy and procedure with a variety of stakeholders. The position holder will implement stock management systems, ensuring goods are stored in an accountable manner and as per policy.

  • Warehouse Management
  • Reporting

Experiences and Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or similar degree, or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years' experience in Stores, Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Computer literate with excellent working knowledge in MS Office.
  • Experience in working with Enterprise Resource Platform (ERP’s)
  • High professional ethics and integrity
  • Good interpersonal and organizing skills
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience working in the INGO at a similar role is an added advantage

How To Apply

The position will be based in Dollow, Jubaland State with regular travel to other field locations depending on the department needs.
