INTRODUCTION
Windle International Somalia (WISOM), in consortium with SCI (Lead), ADRA and
Shaqadoon is implementing the Initaitve For Marketable Practice In Agri-Business,
Circular Economy and Technology funded by the European Union (EU). The project
aims to enhance economic resilience, promote sustainable livelihoods, and improve
employment opportunities for youth and vulnerable populations through skills
development, entrepreneurship support, and climate-smart interventions.
As part of the project's efforts to strengthen employment and self-employment
opportunities within the renewable energy sector, Windle International Somalia intends
to procure and distribute renewable energy start-up kits to graduates who have successfully
completed renewable energy technical training under the project.
Windle therefore, invites qualified, reputable, and experienced suppliers to submit sealed
bids for the Procurement and Supply of Renewable Energy Start-Up Kits for 380 Trained
Beneficiaries.
OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The objective of this assignment is to procure and supply quality renewable energy startup kits that will enable trained graduates to establish or strengthen their income-generating
activities and provide renewable energy installation, maintenance, and repair services
within their communities.
The intervention seeks to facilitate the transition of trained youth from skills acquisition
to productive employment and entrepreneurship while contributing to the growth of the
renewable energy sector in Puntland.
SCOPE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The successful supplier shall be responsible for:
Supplying renewable energy start-up kits in accordance with the specifications provided
in the tender documents.
Ensuring that all supplied items are of high quality and meet the donor and
governmentstandard
Packaging, handling, and transporting all items safely to designated delivery
locations.
Invitation to Tender (ITT): Procurement and Supply of Renewable Energy Start-Up
Kits for Trained Youth Beneficiaries under the EU IMPACT Project
Coordinating delivery schedules with Windle and
project stakeholders.
Supporting inspection and verification of supplied items during delivery.
Replacing any defective, damaged, or non-compliant items identified during
inspection.
Providing product warranties and user manuals where applicable.

at 1600hrs Bids submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
