We are committed to achieving our core vision of caring for the people of concern in all countries where we work. Our goal is to provide vulnerable communities in Puntland with access to basic needs including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, Basic Health services and Livelihood Support. Islamic Relief Somalia has been implementing an project of Emergency Response for Drought affected Communities in Burtinle district (ERDEC) to support the Drought affected Communities in Nugal region through provision of emergency food packages, shelter NFI and dignity kits as well as rehabilitation of strategic borehole in Nugal region.  Islamic Relief Somalia hereby invites to the potential bidders with the following bid: rehabilitation of Godobyar borehole, Godobyar village, Nugal region.

As per the BoQs and Designs  Please note tender document with detail specification will be available and collect at logistics unit of Islamic Relief Garowe office, with address; _Along Galkaiyo-Garowe Highway | Opposite state house junction | Behind Masjid Omar Binu Abdul-Aziz | Mubarak Section, Garowe, Puntland, SOMALIA_ from *29th  Jan – 11st Feb, 2026 (05:00 PM).*

* Interested eligible contractors with sound capacity, relevant experience in similar work and duly registered under Puntland government are here by invited to collect tender document from Islamic Relief Garowe Office at the above address. 

**Requirements for Tender Documents**

4. Inco terms: DAP (Delivery at Place). 

5. Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address - **this carries an evaluation mark of 5%.** 

6. Most recent Bank statements (printed in last 6months), with full details of account movement - **(this carries an evaluation mark of 25%).** 

7. Valid Commercial License from the Ministry of Commerce – Puntland, **(this carries an evaluation mark of 2%).** 

8. Valid Public of Work registration from the Ministry of Public Work – Puntland, **(this carries an evaluation mark of 1%).** 

9. Tender Board Registration – Puntland - **(this carries an evaluation mark of 1%).** 

10. Tax Clearance from the Ministry of Finance – Puntland, **(this carries an evaluation mark of 1%).** 

11. Evidence of Past Experience in a similar/relevant work (Rehabilitation of boreholes, etc) E.g. (LPOs/Contracts, etc.) from NU/INGOs - **(this carries an evaluation mark of 25%).** 

12. Supplier within the budget-(**this carries an evaluation mark of 40%).** 

13. Currency: US Dollars. 

14. Payments: 90% of the contract value will be paid after the completion of the 100% of the work, and 10% of the contract will be retention for three months (90 days). 

15. Completeness of documentations: Partial bids will not be accepted. 

16. Language: English 

17. Bids: Bids should be submitted on the IRS RFQ signed and fully stamped. 

18. Evaluations of Quotations: Only responsive bidders to the technical specifications of the bid will be evaluated. 

19. Award of a Purchase Order/Contract: PO/Contract will be awarded to lowest acceptable priced and technically qualified bidder. The successful bidder will sign a Contract or (Purchase Order) as per the Islamic Relief Somalia General Conditions of Contract for Procurement of Goods or Services.
