Save the Children International (SCI) Somalia program hereby invites interested consultants to bid for the consultancy assignment detailed below

Taxation Provisions
The consultant is responsible for all taxes arising from the consultancy in accordance with the local Tax regulations in effect at the SCI contracting office listed above.
Travel requirements
The consultant should be able to report to the duty station (Puntland) to assess Hafun water solar desalination unit in Hafun town.
Security requirements
The consultant will follow standard Save the Children Security procedures, including completing SCI online security training.
To address the existing challenges of human consumption water quality and availability in Hafun district due to salt water, Save the Children and BFCT/EWM formed a partnership to implement a developmental programme to achieve improved long-term, dependable access to safe drinking water through the installation of a fully equipped desalination facility. For children affected by emergencies in Puntland Hafun district's drought-stricken districts. SCI intends to conduct a strength programme to determine whether the initiative met its objectives.
The lead consultant should have Master of Research, geology, and hydrogeology.
. Experience with similar assignments including baseline and endline evaluations.
Ability to quickly negotiate effectively by exploring a range of possibilities.
Ability to quickly build rapport with individuals and groups;
Fluency in English and Somali is required.
Strong written and verbal skills in communicating technical and/ or complex findings to non-specialist audiences (especially report writing and presentation skills).
