INVITATION FOR OPEN TENDER
INSTALLATION OF SOLAR STREETLIGHTS MAINTENANCE MATERIALS IN LASANOD
DATE: 12.02. 2026
NIS Foundation is looking for a qualified contractor(s) to undertake installation of maintenance
materials for 135 solar streetlights in Lasanod. All interested contractors/suppliers are

requested to submit their bids/applications together with the below listed support

documentation and other requirements for consideration:

1. Licences/Registrations: The company should submit the following licenses.
   ✓ Valid registration or operating license permits from the Ministries of public works,
   Reconstruction & Housing at Federal Government of Somalia and at State level –
   Northeast State.
   ✓ Tax compliance certificate: Submit evidence of valid State tax compliance certificate.
   Note 1: All submitted registrations/licences will be shared with the relevant authorities for
   verification, clearance. Those who fail to submit a valid registration/license will not be
   considered in the next stage of analysis.
   ✓ Statement of ownership: The company shall submit a signed public notary document
   stating the ownership of the company (a list of full names, positions contact details and
   shares)
2. Similar or relevant work experience: The bidder should fill in the below table for previous 3
   main similar signed and implemented contracts related to installation and maintenance of
   solar streetlights and/or other solar PV systems with monetary value of USD 20,000 to
   40,000 each or above. The bidder should submit relevant implemented contracts from the
   last (7) years. Contracts with value below USD 20,000 will not be considered in the NIS
   evaluation matrix. Please attach only copies of 3 most relevant contracts for consideration
   /evaluation process.
