INVITATION FOR OPEN TENDER

INSTALLATION OF 70 SOLAR STREETLIGHTS IN DARARWEYNE AND ERIGAVO, SANAAG REGION OF SOMALILAND SUPPORTED UNDER PROSPERIS PROGRAM FUNDED BY THE ROYAL NORWEGIAN EMBASSY AND SWISS AGENCY FOR DEVELOPMENT AND COOPERATION.

DATE: 27.02. 2024.

NIS Foundation is looking for a qualified contractor to undertake the installation of 20 solar streetlights in Dararweyne and 50 solar streetlights in Erigavo District in Somaliland. All interested qualified contractors are requested to submit their applications together with below-listed support documentation and other requirements for consideration:

Licenses/Registrations: The Company should submit the following registrations/

Licenses. Valid registration or operating license permits from designated government bodies/authorities such as.

✓ Ministry of Public Works of Somaliland for construction firms or Energy License from Ministry of Commerce for energy solution providers.

✓ Tax compliance certificate from the Ministry of Finance, Somaliland.

✓ Membership certificate from Chamber of Commerce, Somaliland.

✓ Erigavo local authority registration.

✓ Statement of ownership: The company shall submit a signed public notary document stating the ownership of the company (Name, position, contacts, and shares)

Failure to submit all the above licenses will lead to automatic disqualification.

Experience: The company should fill in the below table for the previous 3 main relevant/similar contracts on solar installation and construction works that the company has implemented with Government institutions, INGO’s and UN agencies,

ONLY. Kindly attach the respective 3 contracts with all its annexes. Fake contracts and failure to fill in the below table will lead to automatic disqualification.

Human and material resources: Possess necessary resources, human and material, and ability to mobilize such a resource at short notice to undertake project works (Please attach CVs of all relevant personnel and list of all readily available equipment owned or rented by the company).
Company Finances: presents a duly signed statement/declaration confirming that the company is financially in a good position and able to pre-finance project works as this is necessary.
Work plan for the activity: The Company shall submit a clear and detailed activity work plan.
BoQ price allocation accuracy and responsiveness: The company shall submit a filled and stamped BoQ in both Excel and PDF format.
