It has been implementing development projects in Somaliland since 2001. Multi-sectoral projects have been carried out in the Awdal, Marodijeh, Togdheer & Sanaag Regions for the past 22 years.

2. Project Overview:

Welthungerhilfe Somaliland is soliciting expressions of interest and submission of prequalification applications from experienced contractors for performing Construction and Rehabilitation works, Water supply systems, irrigation flumes (Berkads, Dams, borehole and etc) in Somaliland.

The successful prequalified companies will participate WHH’s future restricted tender procedures for construction works.

4. Prequalification Submission Requirements:Interested contractors must submit the following mandatory documents byJanuary 20, 2024.

1. Fill Supplier qualification questionnaire form here
2. Signed suppliers declaration form
3. Sign the WHH Code of Conduct
4. Copy of the Contractor's License/Registration certificate with tax proofs
5. Financial Statements for the last 6 months.
6. Details of Previous Similar Projects, including references, contracts
7. Detailed and updated company profile
8. CV of the related Engineers
9. List of construction equipment/machineries/assets such as tipper trucks, water tankers, concrete mixers, vibrators, and steel tanks, including pictures for evaluation

4. Essential criteria:

• Filled out supplier qualification questionnaire form
• Ensure valid certificate registration, Tax clearance certificate in Somaliland is a prerequisite for application. Include certified copies of the registration certificate with your submission. ( Pass/Fail)
• Prospective companies should complete the Supplier Declaration Form and Policy Statement, duly stamping and signing them as required. (Contractors with invalid registration certificates will be disqualified from further consideration.)

Note: contractors who fulfill the above requirement will proceed to the technical and financial capability.
