The Somalia Nexus Accelerator Fund (SNAF) is tackling the interconnected challenges of conflict and climate change that affect vulnerable populations in the Luuq district of Somalia. SNAF's goal is to support extremely poor and socially marginalized groups in Luuq district, enhancing their resilience in the face of shocks and stresses. By sequencing, layering, and integrating humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding efforts, the program aims to achieve sustainable outcomes that promote long-term resilience in the Gedo and Bay communities. The NAF Project is supporting smallholder farmers in Luq District, Somalia, to improve agricultural productivity and enhance community resilience. In 2025, the project provided training, seeds irrigation pumps, and rehabilitation of irrigation canals to 200 farmers across five farming locations dependent on the Jubba River. These areas have recently faced flooding, pest and disease invasions, and economic hardship, compounded by drought and conflict. The targeted farming locations include: * Jazeera * Taleh * Herokowad * Bulamusley * Goday To enable the farmers to cultivate during the upcoming season, the project will procure and distribute certified vegetable and cereal seeds suitable for dryland and riverine farming systems. 1. **Objectives** The objective of this procurement is to supply high-quality, certified agricultural seeds that meet the required technical standards to ensure successful crop production in dry conditions and river-fed irrigation systems. The supplier shall provide high-quality seeds and deliver them to the designated location in Luq District. Seeds must comply with international and regional quality standards, including ISTA (International Seed Testing Association) or equivalent. The required seeds and quantities are shown by the table below:
