NRC Livelihoods and food security department in South Central Somalia is implementing emergency lifesaving and sustaining livelihoods through provision of MPCA, UCT and Market based livelihoods included on farm and none-farm based livelihoods for the displacement-affected communities. Hence, NRC will be hiring a qualified enumerators to support us in implementation of emergency livelihoods and food security projects in Galgaduud, with travelling to remote Villages in the District to conduct beneficiaries’ registrations, monitoring, data cleaning, verifications, and community mobilizations. The causal staff (enumerator) is expected to represent Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in a respectful and professional manner and always act in accordance with the NRC Code of Conduct.
The scope Supervisor will be responsible of supervising, reporting, planning, and organizing the processes of food distribution in the assigned target locations in Abudwak district of Galgaduud Region.
Responsibilities
Specific Responsibilities:
1. SCOPE Management: Supervises the registration, validation, and updating of beneficiary data in the SCOPE system, ensuring data quality and minimizing duplication.
2. Field Supervision: Oversees SCOPE registrars, provides hands-on technical support for biometric devices, and ensures the security of hardware.
3. Coordination & Compliance: Collaborates with local authorities, community leaders, and WFP partners to ensure targeting criteria are met.
4. Reporting & Accountability: Produces regular, accurate reports on registration, redemption, and feedback to ensure accountability and inform decision-making.
5. Sensitization: Trains field staff and educates beneficiaries on entitlement, redemption processes, and complaint mechanisms.
6. Field Monitoring: Conducts regular field visits to monitor distribution sites, track project progress, and manage the logistics of beneficiary registration.
7. Participate in the community mobilization and engagement and closely have contact with village leader for the target FDPs.

9. Manage crowd and ensure proper alignment of beneficiaries especially women and those of special needs.
10. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
Our Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a university graduate in social science or related field with a minimum of two years of previous experience in food distribution supervisory.
Experience working in Abudwak ,Somalia. Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities. Fluency in English and somali both written and verbal.
