Job Title: CP AoR Information Management Officer (IMO)
Location: Mogadishu, Somalia (with frequent travel nationwide)
Job Summary:
SOS CV Somalia is hiring on behalf of the CP AoR Roving Information Management Officer (IMO) to support information management activities related to child protection initiatives in Somalia. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and disseminating data to inform strategic decision-making and strengthen child protection case management through the Child Protection Area of Responsibility (CP AoR) and the Case Management Task Force (CMTF).

Functional Supervisor: National CP AoR Case Management Taskforce Coordinator
Key Area of responsibility:
• Support partners to conduct the child protection situation monitoring tools, safety audits, regular rapid need assessment (RNA) analyses, validate and visualize the report on a monthly/quarterly basis
• Coordinate with CP AoR members to conduct regular service mapping exercises, ensuring that child protection service delivery points are accurately mapped and accessible.
• Support quarterly capacity assessment and service point mappings across the country.
• Validate the service mapping information to ensure accuracy and ease of access for all child protection partners.
• Support CP AoR Information Management at regional/District levels, ensuring effective data sharing and coordination among stakeholders under the guidance of the national CP AoR Information Officer and CP AoR Coordinator.
• Develop and share information products such as reports, dashboards, and analyses that support decision-making and programmatic planning for child protection.
• Support the update referral pathways for child protection services in collaboration with CMTF partners, ensuring integration into CPIMS+ for case workers’ use.
• Coordinate with the National CP AoR Coordinator and National CMTF Coordinator to organize and facilitate training sessions on referral pathways to strengthen coordination and improve service provision for children in need.
• Coordinate with the CP AoR IMO and National CMTF Coordinator to support CP members in adopting and using CPIMS+/Primero for case management, providing troubleshooting and user account management assistance.
• Support technical assistance and training to CP partners to enhance their capacity in case management, CPIMS+, service mapping, and referral pathways.
• Effectively transfer information to and from cluster participants, regional CP AoR’s, and other child protection actors to enhance collaboration and prevent gaps or duplications in service delivery.
• Collaborate with other clusters and humanitarian actors at the sub-national level to ensure that child protection data is integrated into broader humanitarian assessments and planning processes.
❖ Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, information management, or a related field.
❖ Experience 3 years in child protection programming, M&E, information management, or data analysis.
❖ Familiarity with CPIMS+/Primero or similar case management systems.
❖ Strong analytical skills and the ability to produce informative reports and dashboards.
❖ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
❖ Fluency in English and Somali (written and spoken) is essential.
