1. ABOUT NAFIS NETWORK
Network against FGM/C in Somaliland (NAFIS) is a non-political, non-governmental and humanitarian network. NAFIS was established in November 2006 in Hargeisa, Somaliland, by several local NGOs working to eradicate FGM/C. Currently, NAFIS has 20 member organizations operating in all the regions of Somaliland. As the only nationwide network of its kind, the primary purpose of NAFIS is to combat all forms of VAWG in Somaliland through coordination and networking, policy framework, research, documentation, and capacity building for the key stakeholders and media awareness.
Nafis Network partnership with Plan international in Somaliland, implementing project-proposed interventions to strengthen the ecosystem to address GBV. Central to achieving this goal is the project’s activist/women-led approach, which includes three parallel tracks to achieve project outcomes: (1) a WLO co-created grant-making mechanism, (2) ongoing WLO institutional and technical capacity development, and (3) direct implementation of select activities by Nafis Network and Plan with the goal to hand over to WVLOs.
2. Scope of Service Provisions:
NAFIS NETWORK Somaliland Office seeks to contract the services of providing brand new Toyota Haice bus vehicle for the SDC Project activities.
3. Specification of vehicles
a) TOYOTA HAICE BUS
b)
• Engine capacity: minimum of 2KD and above
• Number of engine cylinder: 4
• Year of Manufacture 2012 or above
• Fuel type: Diesel
• Capacity: 15 Seat
• Good condition
• Complete accessories of the vehicle (two spare tires, Spanner, Wheel Wrench, Hydraulic jack, Fire extinguisher, shovel etc.
• Colour: white
4. Selection Criteria
The documents submitted will be evaluated for suitability and awarded marks which will contribute to a maximum 100% of the total tender evaluation. This invitation is extended to all competent Logistic companies who have been certified by the Ministry of Commerce.
5. Financial Capacity
Submit competitive fixed price rate for brand new Toyota Haice Bus vehicle with time mentioned above by completing NAFIS Bid Form Annexed tender notice.
6. Notes:
• All the information requested will be provided in English. NAFIS reserves the right to accept or reject any application and is not bound to give reasons for its decision.
• Bidders can obtain a complete set of the bidding document from the NAFIS Network Office in Hargeisa, located in Koodbur district, Jig-Jiga yar, Bada Cas Area, behind the summer time starting from 12TH to 17th December, 2024 during office hours from Sunday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30p.m. any application summited after deadline will not be except for any conditions.
• Bid (technical and financial proposal) must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the reference and note mentioned below by clearly marking the envelopes as ORGINAL.
