About the Project:
The Solar Power System for Ro DesalinaƟon Plant Project by Muslim Hands aims to support
vulnerable families in the SANAAAG Region, Through This project aims to providing a
sustainable and reliable soluƟon for accessing clean water, thereby improving public health and
overall quality of life in the region.
This project is designed to complement exisƟng water and sanitaƟon iniƟaƟves in the region. By
providing a reliable source of clean drinking water through solar-powered desalinaƟon, it can
significantly enhance the impact of these programs. This innovaƟon reduces reliance on
expensive and unsustainable soluƟons like water trucking by uƟlizing solar energy, minimizing
environmental impact and operaƟonal costs. Furthermore, by prioriƟzing community
engagement and capacity building, this project ensures that it is sustainable and locally owned,
building upon the valuable knowledge and insights of the community members themselves.
This analysis clearly demonstrates the need for innovaƟve approaches to address the criƟcal
