About the Project:
Muslim Hands (MHS) is implementing a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) project in Hargeisa, Somaliland, aimed at improving the livelihoods and employment prospects of vulnerable youth through market-driven vocational skills development.
The project targets 160 vulnerable youth, including young women and men from low-income households, orphaned families, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and other disadvantaged groups. Beneficiaries are enrolled in accredited vocational training programs designed to equip them with practical, industry-relevant skills that enhance their employability and income-generating opportunities.
Training is delivered in selected vocational trades i.e tailoring, interior décor and automechanics based on local labor market demand and is complemented by life skills, entrepreneurship, and employability support to facilitate graduates' transition into employment or self-employment. To ensure effective hands-on learning, the project will provide modern training equipment, tools, and learning materials that meet the requirements of each vocational trade.
As part of the project implementation, Muslim Hands invites qualified and experienced suppliers to submit bids for the supply and delivery of vocational training equipment, tools, and related materials required for the TVET program. The procurement aims to equip the participants with quality, durable, and fit-for-purpose equipment to support the employability of the 160 beneficiaries
