Our goal is to provide vulnerable communities in Puntland with access to basic needs including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Education, Basic Health services and Livelihood Support.
Islamic Relief Somalia is implementing the Strengthening Community Resilience and Economic Empowerment Programme (SHEEP II SOM), co-funded by Islamic Relief Mauritius (IRM), Islamic Relief UK (IRUK), and GFD. The project aims to strengthen the resilience and livelihoods of vulnerable coastal fishing communities in Puntland by improving fisheries productivity, increasing household incomes, enhancing food security, and promoting sustainable utilization of marine resources. Building on the achievements and lessons learned from the SHEEP-II project and previous fisheries interventions, SHEEP II focuses on expanding access to productive fishing assets, strengthening fisheries cooperatives, enhancing technical skills, and improving market linkages across the fisheries value chain.
Therefore, Islamic Relief Somalia hereby invites to the potential bidders with the following bid ‘procurement, Supply and Distribution of 120 Fishing Net Including (84Pcs of Gill Fishing Net Set (36 mm), and 36 Pcs of Lobster Fishing Net Set (24 mm) for Fishery Community in the Target Sites.’
