1.Background

Centre for Research and integrated Development (CeRID) is a non-governmental organization and an agent of change for peaceful and self-reliant communities founded in 2005. 2. Scope of work

Interested bidders with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar work are here by invited to submit their Bid before 9th May 2026 at 5:00PM. Interested bidders to submit proposal for the following works as a one (1) lot; 

1. DIGGING AND CONSTRUCTION OF SHALLOW WELL (LUUQ TOWN)
   1. REHABILITATION OF ELEVATED TANK and SUPPLY OF PIPE LAYING AND FITTINGS (LUUQ TOWN)
      1. CONCTRUCTION (4) WATER POINTS (LUUQ TOWN)
      2. SUPPLY OF SOLAR PANELS AND SOLAR PUMP & FENCING (LUUQ TOWN)
      3. SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF PLASTIC TANK ON A PLATFORM

(RAINWATER HARVESTING) AND WATER PIPE TO THE PLASTIC TANK, (DOLLOW TOWN)

1. CONSTRUCTION OF 5 TWIN LATRINES (3 LUUQ TOWN AND 2

(DOLLOW TOWN))

1. CONSTRUCTION 20 TEMBORARY SINGLE LATRINES WITH HANDWASHING FACILITIES (LUUQ TOWN).

The activity is part of Norad 2025-2029 WASH & EDFS response to the crisis in SomaliaPhase 11 funded by NCA and implemented by CeRID in Luuq and Dollow Districts. It shall remain the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that their bid documents reach CeRID before the deadline. Bids that are received by CeRID after the deadline indicated above, for whatever reason, shall not be considered for evaluation.
