Job Title: Programme Associate (Social Protection)

What will you do?
- Prepare notes for records (NFRs) for Technical Units’ review and endorsement by the Country Office
- Review/ analyse and present CPs proposals for management approval and where applicable, adopt/implement recommendations in revised NFRs or budgets.
- Manage and coordinate Field Level Agreements with NGO Cooperating Partners (CPs), including communication and documentation.
- Prepare a range of reports (e.g. monthly & quarterly reports), and data analysis (e.g., project sites surveys, food assistance needs, resource utilization, programme status & performance) and highlight trends/issues ensuring deliverables adhere to corporate standards and quality control, including reviewing and processing CPs’ invoices in collaboration with support services units at the Area Office and Country Office.
Do you meet the minimum requirements?
Education: Completion of secondary school education. Diploma or bachelor’s degree is desirable in International Development Assistance/Affairs, Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, or any other field relevant to international development assistance.
Experience: Has at least six (6) years of relevant experience in emergency assistance and programmes related to Social Protection and Safety Nets preferably with UN/INGOs or diploma and or bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of relevant experience in the same or similar fields.
Language: Fluency in oral and written communication in English and Somali.
