Tender Description

Procurement of ice-flake-making machine (including delivery & installation costs) 

Ice-flake making machine-10 MT seawater flake ice machine with 10 tons output per day. Includes 30 MT capacity cold room to store the ice and harvest unit with swing door and a latch with an insulated roof. Includes steel frame roof to accommodate the flake ice-making machine on the top of the cold room.

Delivery & installation services for the ice-flake machine. The delivery and installation location are Kismayo.

Instructions to Offerors:

-        Submission Deadline: Final submissions will be due no later than July 15th, 2024, 11:59, Hrs. (East African Time) submitted to the email: iris.procurement@dt-global.com 

DT Global will not respond to questions pertaining to this RFQ over the phone. DT Global will not in any way assist Offerors in preparing their bids nor reimburse any bid preparation costs incurred by the Offeror. Offerors are expected to submit competitive prices/quotations. 

The goods will be delivered in Kismayo Somalia. The bidder is expected to deliver the required goods and related services in the specified location, and it is the sole responsibility of the vendor to ensure this is done, under the supervision of IRiS Project relevant team lead.

Mandatory Submission Requirements: 

1. Valid Business Registration Certificate- Federal Government of Somalia - Ministry of Commerce and Industry
2. Valid Tax compliance certificate for ministry of Finance Somalia – (End of quarter 2, 2024)
3. Provide related experience, at least in the past (3) years; please attach a copy of contracts for similar purchases, such as 2 or 3 purchase orders for the ice-flake-making machines.
4. Warranty Latter and After-Sales Requirements for minimum one 1-year warranty.
5. Provision of company profile.
6. Full specification of the Ice-Flake-Making Machine
7. Proof confirmation that the bidder has applied the UEI number is available through this SAM.gov | Home
8. NDAA Section 889 Representation Form. DT Global reserves the right to disqualify any offeror using covered materials. See Annex A Below.

• Lowest price & technically acceptable offer will be considered as the best offer. (Score:100%)
