This professional certificate program is designed to take learners from Excel formula novices to experts. Students will master dynamic calculations, logical decision-making, data lookups, and financial analysis, culminating in a final certification assessment.

Format

Over the course of 2 weeks, you will be immersed in a dynamic on site/ Online learning journey, featuring expert-led classrooms, curated visual, and collaborative problem-based learning activities, all facilitated by skilled and experienced instructors in the field. Practical, hands-on assignment and/or a short multiple-choice quiz.

The Training will cover the following Content

• Cell Referencing: Mastering relative, absolute, and mixed cell references (e.g., $A$1).

Module 2: Essential Built-In Functions

• Basic Statistical & Math Functions: SUM, AVERAGE, MEDIAN, MODE, COUNT, and COUNTA.
• Extremes: Using MIN and MAX to find dataset boundaries.
• Dynamic Date & Time Functions: TODAY, NOW, and DATE calculations.

Module 3: Logical Decision-Making

• Boolean Logic: Understanding TRUE and FALSE.
• Conditional Formulas: Mastering the IF function and NESTED IF statements.
• Multi-Condition Logic: Utilizing AND and OR operators.
• Modern Logic: Using the IFS, SWITCH, and IFERROR functions to clean up visible errors.

Module 4: Data Lookup and Reference Functions

• Vertical and Horizontal Lookups: Implementing VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP.
• The Modern Standard: Mastering XLOOKUP for multi-directional and exact matches.
